Many enterprise products rushed to add an assistant panel because it was the quickest way to say “we have AI.” The result, in many cases, was shallow utility and rising user indifference. Copilot fatigue is the natural outcome.
The better direction is integration depth: AI that reduces workflow fragmentation, handles specific repetitive work and fits into how teams already operate. That requires stronger product discipline than simply adding a floating prompt box.
